Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the Bihar election results showed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar successfully converted anti-incumbency into an advantage, crediting women-centric schemes for the NDA's strong mandate. Comparing Bihar's political landscape with J&K, Abdullah said he expected a tough contest in Budgam and remarked that a large section of voters do not vote on issues.
PM Modi was also felicitated by Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the party headquarters
