Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), May 13 (ANI): Reacting to a viral video in which a Muslim cleric was seen publicly scolding organisers in an event for inviting a girl on stage to receive an award in Malappuram district, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan on May 13 condemned the incident and said that the issue of humiliation of a Muslim girl on stage in Malappuram is a shame for Kerala. “Silence of the opposition and ruling front on issue of humiliation of a Muslim girl on stage in Malappuram is a shame for Kerala. He has responsibility and duty to uphold constitutional values. When a girl was publicly humiliated then why is he keeping silent?” said V Muraleedharan, MoS for External Affairs.
