Nagpur (Maharashtra), Jan 13 (ANI): Recent heavy hailstorm damaged cotton crops and vegetables in Nagpur, Maharashtra on January 12. The district has been lashed by hailstorm from two days. However, Survey conducted by Agriculture Officials for ascertaining crop loss due to heavy hailstorm.“Vegetable crops on 11 acres of land were destroyed due to hailstorm. Officials are doing surveys,” A Farmer said. An agriculture official Pankaj Lokhande informed ANI, “Survey is being done for ascertaining crop loss due to recent heavy hailstorm." IMD predicted rainfall and hailstorm from January 11 to 14 in Nagpur.
