Tripura CM Manik Saha leads Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Agartala ahead of Independence Day celebrations

Agartala (Tripura), Aug 12 (ANI): Ahead of the 78th Independence Day celebrations, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on August 12 attended a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event at Battala in Agartala. The event, aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene in the community, was part of the larger nationwide campaign to maintain a cleaner and healthier environment. The Chief Minister’s participation highlights the state’s commitment to the Swachh Bharat initiative. It also encourages citizens to actively contribute to keeping their surroundings clean as a mark of patriotism and civic duty. The campaign included cleaning of streets, public spaces, and markets in the Battala area, with a special focus on waste segregation and the disposal of plastic waste.
