Manipuri actors woo fans in Bollywood movie “Penalty”

Mumbai (Maharashtra), October 4 (ANI): Bollywood movie 'Penalty' a sports film directed by Shubham Singh which was released in July this year- revolves around the story of a college student –Lukram from the northeast region, a football enthusiast who enrolls in a college in Lucknow in pursuit of his dreams. Directed by Subham Singh, the movie conveys a social message against racial discrimination prevailing within the states. The movie stars Kay Kay Menon, Lukram Smil, BijouThaangjam, Manjot Sigh, Shashank Arora and Aakash Dabhade. For the first time, an actor from the northeast played the protagonist in mainstream Hindi cinema. Meet the two talented Manipuri actors from the movie Lukram Smil and Bijou Thaangjam who currently lives in Mumbai.
