Poonch (J&K), Oct 05 (ANI): Candidates filled papers for Block Development Council (BDC) election in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch. BDC election took place for the first time after abrogation of article 370 from the state. “Large number of people are coming to filled papers for BDC election, 09 October is last date to filled papers for election, said Regional officer of Poonch block. The government's announcement to hold elections to Block Development Council (BDC) is being seen as an incongruous move by panchayat members. The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Block Development Council (BDC) elections will be held on October 24. The counting of the votes has been scheduled for the same day, October 24.
