Authorities issue ‘barcode-enabled’ slips to keep track of Amarnath pilgrims

Sonamarg (Jammu and Kashmir), Jul 01 (ANI): A ‘barcode-enabled’ authority slip is being issued for Amarnath pilgrims. The facility has been started to keep a track of actual number of people travelling to and from the cave shrine. Director of Batlal base camp, Krishan Lal said, “Amarnath Shrine Board has started it, CRPF has been assigned the task. It is a great initiative and will help us in the management of Amarnath Yatra well as the weather is extremely unpredictable.”
