Male (Maldives), Jun 08 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Maldives on his first official foreign visit after taking oath for second straight term, was given a ceremonial welcome in Male. PM Modi was received by President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih when he arrived at Republic Square. PM Modi who couldn’t visit the island nation for official bilateral visit during his first tenure due to political situations in Maldives, has chosen the country for his first official visit after assuming charge for the second time. PM Modi is on two-visit to Maldives and Sri Lanka.
