TMKOC actor Jennifer Mistry demands apology from Producer Asit Modi over harassment charges

Jabalpur (MP) May 15 (ANI): ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actor Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, is demanding an apology from Producer Asit Modi for alleged sexual harassment. Jennifer, who plays Mrs Roshan Sodhi on the show, had recently claimed that she quit the show due to harassment from the producers. She had her last shot for the show on March 7. The makers of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ have reacted sharply to the sexual harassment allegations levelled by actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. They have issued an official statement denying all the allegations saying Mistry is being driven by vendetta as her work contract with the production house was terminated. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most popular Hindi language shows on air running since 2008. Speaking to ANI, Jennifer Mistry said, “I sent the draft on 4th April and they sent me an email to threaten me saying that I am trying to extort money. Finally, on 8th April, I sent an official notice. But why was he silent from 8th April to 8th May? Why didn’t he terminate then? Why didn’t he say then that I am disorganised or undisciplined? People who are saying that Asit Modi had a physical relationship with me, I want to say that there is nothing like that, they just said such things to me. The Police are investigating.
