Shabir Ahmad Ganie helps unemployed youths to earn through Honey production venture

Srinagar, Nov 24 (ANI): Shabir Ahmad Ganie has successfully transformed his beekeeping hobby into entrepreneurship. He launched his own brand of honey ‘Nature's Nectar’ and provided employment to others also. Shabir is a resident of Aung Astanpora village in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir. He started his schooling at a local school in his village and thereafter did graduation from Government Degree College in Anantnag. He wanted to do a government job and business but it was not possible for him. With the help of Department of Agriculture, he got 10 beehives on subsidy. Department of Agriculture also gave training to Shabir for apiculture and through his hard work, he became a young entrepreneur. He started from 10 beehive colonies and now he has 309 beehive colonies. In 2020, Shabir Ahmad Ganie has installed his own processing unit of honey and presently he is supplying his products to various parts of Kashmir valley. He also advised unemployed educated youths to take benefits from various government schemes.
