Shimla (HP), Sept 28 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on September 28 welcomed the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the decision. Speaking to ANI, Thakur said, “I welcome this step by the Central Govt. They had been carrying out suspicious activities in the country for a very long time. When evidence came up multiple times, a need arose to take action. I congratulate PM and Union HM on this. It's the right decision.”
