Srinagar, Aug 18 (ANI): For the last few years, youngsters from Kashmir valley are performing well in Hotel Management courses. These talented and energetic youths of the valley are showing their calibre in different streams and Shafiq-ur-Rehman is one of them. Shafiq-ur- Rehman belong to Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. He has become the youngest PhD degree holder of Kashmir valley. He completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Kurukshetra University in 2016. He left for Jaipur aiming to complete his Masters in Food Production and Hospitality. Shafiq was very talented from childhood and he qualified the engineering entrance test and joined Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University but after some time he left. But his dream was different. His father, who was a principal in Technical Education college wanted his son to be in the teaching profession especially in Hotel Management. That’s why after completing his Masters, he decided to pursue PhD which will was completed after a few months. Presently, Shafiq is working as faculty in Institute of Hotel Management, Srinagar (IHM). Shafiq-ur-Rehman is the main faculty of this renowned institute who teaches and trains students very well.
