Bihar: Govt middle school implements dress code for teachers in Gaya

Gaya (Bihar), July 11 (ANI): A government middle school in the Naxal-affected Banke Bazar block of Gaya district of Bihar has introduced a school uniform for the teachers and non-staff members. They came to school in uniform. The Principal of the school provided them uniform from his personal funds. Teachers are provided pink shirt and navy blue pant while green sarees have been provided to the cook. This has become the first government school in the entire district to have implemented the dress code for teachers and non-staff members. “We had a meeting with all the teachers, guards and cooks of the school where we decided that not only students but also the teaching and other staff should come to school in uniform. I decided to provide the first set of uniform from my private funds,” said the Principal.
