Punjab engineering students develop automatic lane marking machine

Jul 08, 2021

Chandigarh, July 09 (ANI): An automatic road-lane marking machine has been developed by a group of Punjab Engineering College students. The idea behind this concept was to help society in the fight against coronavirus. The machine can be used for marking white strips on the road for several purposes such as social distancing or parking. “We thought to make a machine which can automatically create a circle on roads. So that people can stand there while maintaining distance. Now it can only make straight white lines on roads but in future, we want to make it fully automated,” said one of the students.
