New Delhi, April 12 (ANI): Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested an arms supplier Salim who was supplying various types of arms to the criminals in Delhi and NCR. The arms recovered from him were meant to be supplied to criminals during the upcoming elections in UP. In view of increasing use of semi-automatic weapons by hardcore criminals while committing crime, STF, Crime Branch was tasked to locate and apprehend persons involved in supplying of arms and ammunition to the criminals. On receiving a tip-off the team laid a trap at Khajuri Pushta road near Power House, Delhi and successfully apprehended the supplier Salim when he arrived there on a motorcycle to deliver arms and ammunition to someone. Total 4 pistols and 39 live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
