Bengaluru/ Mangaluru/ Hubli (Karnataka), Feb 13 (ANI): Several pro-Kannada groups have called for Karnataka bandh on February 13. They are demanding implementation of Sarojini Mahishi report which recommended reservation in jobs to Kannadigas in private and public sector companies. Stones were also pelted on a Tirupati-Mangaluru bus in Farangipet area of Mangaluru. But, no impact of bandh was seen at Hubli’s Kittur Rani Chennamma circle. The traffic is flowing with normal pace in the city. While speaking to ANI, the President of Ola, Uber Drivers’ and Owners’ Association in Bengaluru, Tanveer said, “We have told our drivers to stop services till evening. More than 70,000 vehicles usually run, but we are stopping the service today. We are supporting the bandh.”
