Hyderabad, Jan 19 (ANI): Over 150 swine flu cases were reported in Telangana in January. Health officials expect rise in cases in coming days. Dr Shankar, Director, Institute of Preventive Medicine Telangana told ANI, “It is noticed that compared to last year, swine flu cases number is less. This year till now in January month we have tested around 370 swine flu suspected cases in which 30 were found positive. After dengue season swine flu starts in September month every year and will persist till February.” “The Swine Flu cases may increase in the coming days; the government of Telangana has already alerted all the medical staff across the state regarding swine flu cases. In this season a total of around 200 swine flu positive cases expected and public should take all measures to protect themselves from fatal diseases.”
