Global Buddhist Summit will give message of India’s love for peace, says Rinchen Lhamo

New Delhi, April 22 (ANI): Buddhist member of the National Commission for Minorities, Rinchen Lhamo participated in the Global Buddhist Summit 2023 on April 21. While talking to ANI, Rinchen Lhamo said that the summit will give the message to the world that India is a peace-loving country. “This is a very important platform to give the message of peace to the world. Our Prime Minister always says that we have given Buddha, not war. We do not want war because we are from the country of Buddha and Lord Buddha has preached peace and non-violence. It was from this land that Buddhism developed and we spread the message of knowledge to the neighbouring countries of India. This summit will send a message to the whole world that India is a peace-loving country,” said Rinchen Lhamo. “Whether we are in a time of war, hunger, any disease or in the time of COVID, our Prime Minister is always there to remove the sorrows of the people. This message is also going to be given through the global Buddhist summit,” she added.
