Srinagar, April 18 (ANI): National Health Authority (NHA) under its flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) introduced a QR-code-based solution for faster OPD registration service via scans and shared functionality in Jammu and Kashmir. The scheme enables patients to scan the QR code of the facility and share demographic details and health records. This minimises the problem of long queues at health facilities and the entry of incomplete and inaccurate data. The patient’s health records can also be linked to Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, which they can manage and access from their phones anytime, anywhere. They can scan the QR code using any health application of their choice and share their ABHA profile (demographic information like name, age, and gender and ABHA number) with the Health Management Information Systems (HMIS). These facilities are presently available at five hospitals like Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Jammu and other hospitals.
