Chennai, Aug 20 (ANI): The celebrations of Chennai Day is underway at Elliot’s Beach in Besant Nagar, as Chennai turned 383 years on August 20. It was a two-day event which was held in association with Confederation of Indian Industry. Large number of people were seen enjoying at Elliot’s Beach to mark Madras Day.While talking to ANI, he said, “Chennai Day is celebrated on August 22 but a week before that a lot of activities have been organised by Greater Chennai Corporation along with police and various organisations. We are also organising music, short film, photography competitions.”
