No case of new COVID variant XE found in LNJP Hospital: Dr Suresh Kumar

New Delhi, April 16 (ANI): Amid the slight increase in COVID-19 cases in Delhi, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital MD Dr Suresh Kumar on April 16 informed that not a single case of new COVID variant XE has been found in the genome lab of the hospital till now. While talking to ANI, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital MD Dr Suresh Kumar said, “All patients are stable. No one needs a ventilator. Yes, people have been careless. Till now not a single case of new variant XE of COVID has been found in LNJP’s genome lab.” “Certainly the COVID cases have increased in the last few days. The positivity rate is above 1 per cent. We observed that in most of the cases patients do not need to be admitted. At present only 6 people are admitted in LNJP, one child is also there,” he added.
