Integrated command-control centres in all 100 smart cities by Aug 15: Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri

Surat (Gujarat), April 19 (ANI): Union Housing Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on April 18, informed that out of the 100 cities being developed under the Smart Cities Mission (SCM), 80 have already set up Integrated Command and Control Centres. “Out of the 100 smart cities, 80 have already gotten their Command and Control Centres. All the projects worth around Rs 200,000cr have been tendered. Projects worth around Rs 63,000cr or so have been completed,” he said. The minister also said, “We've to complete the work in the remaining 20 cities by August 15, 2022. The next step is to take this completion of 100 smart cities to a movement.”
