Kathmandu (Nepal), Jan 22 (ANI): The Indian embassy in Kathmandu organised a marathon at the Pashupatinath Temple Complex in Kathmandu, Nepal on January 21. The marathon was organised to spread the concept of Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE) and was 5 km long. The run was flagged off by Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Mr Sudan Kiranti along with Ambassador of India to Nepal Naveen Srivastava. Top runners were felicitated with small plants as their commitment to Lifestyle for Environment and all runners were given LiFE medals made out of recycled metal. The event saw participation of around thousand people.
