PoK: Ousted from his home, refugee ‘Malik Waseem’ seeks Indian government intervention

Jan 25, 2022

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 25 January 2022: - Malik Waseem is the latest victim of Pakistan’s notorious agenda of carrying out a systematic demographic shift in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The local administration invoked a redundant, draconian law to boot out Waseem and his family from the home they were living in for over seven decades. He was even arrested and put behind bars. The police caved in only to massive public outrage that erupted post his arrest. And not to forget, the police also failed to defend the charges it framed against Waseem. And now with no roof to live under, Waseem says he is considering the extreme step of committing suicide. He also urged the government of India to rescue his family and others who were suffering at the hands of the barbaric regime.
