Kathmandu (Nepal), May 27 (ANI): With a string of blasts in Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Sunday that were followed by strikes called by former Maoist splinter group, most vehicles stayed off roads. Four people were killed and seven injured after three separate blasts. Along with a slump in number of vehicles on road, the number of people venturing out for work also reduced with some schools and offices staying shut. A handful number of people were seen outside but they were also scared. The splinter group Communist Party of Nepal is suspected to be behind Sunday's attack, the deadliest since the government imposed a ban on the group on March 12. With the arrest and discovery of bombs at four different places on Sunday alone, criticism against the group is increasing and people are suggesting the government to sit down with group to reach to a point of consensus. Apart from Kathmandu, bombs were found in highway and in Pokhara, Tanahun, Sindhuli Morang, Bardibas, Makwanpur. At least five vehicles were torched in various parts of the nation. Meanwhile, Nepal Army's bomb disposal team disposed a bomb inside New Buspark area.
