‘BRICS Business Incubator’ held in Russia’s Omsk city

Omsk (Russia), Aug 29 (ANI/ TV BRICS): Participants of the Omsk-based BRICS business incubator held a meeting in Russia. The face-to-face part of the first and only accelerator programme for Entrepreneurs in the Brics area gathered more than 100 People: Businessmen, investors, and business associations' representatives from the five countries, as well as from the central Asian region, are discussing which projects will get the support of the business community. The project organized by the Omsk region government, Omsk State Technical University, and the autonomous non-profit organization "leaders of International Cooperation" is like a springboard to enter international markets, say participants of the Brics business incubator. Experts selected 25 out of more than 300 applications for the programme. Construction of low-cost housing, Nanorobots for the treatment of atherosclerosis, technologies for promoting goods on marketplaces, developments in it, and the hospitality industry. They are ready to help entrepreneurs in several fields at once - to provide full information on how to set up a business in one of the Brics countries, and when the business "matures" and "grows up" - to provide financial support: investors will sponsor at least 70% of the finalists' projects. The first cooperation agreements are signed by the BRICS business incubator partners - the Eurasian investment agency, "Consult Invest ITIC" international trade and investment company and the China technology transfer centre of the SCO member states.
