Moscow (Russia), Jan 27 (ANI/ TV BRICS): Specialists of the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Russia (MUCTR) are developing a new technology to restore liver tissue. The Traditional therapy of liver was previously based on the use of medications. A framework of aerogel is used to develop new tissues. No living cells are harmed by this non-toxic substance. There is sufficient space for unique additives, such as those that promote or inhibit tissue growth, which is essential for the best possible formation of the liver's three-dimensional structure. The framework's lack of germs and infections aids in maintaining the new organ's sterility and health. The project's creators use unique techniques in an effort to preserve the delicate aerogel base. The MUCTR postgraduates and students came up with the new concept. It will likely take several years to implement the research findings. Though many tests remain, the developers are optimistic that this method will eventually be able to repair not only the liver but other organs as well.
