Arrests of Afghan nationals in Pakistan rose by 146 per cent in a week, mainly due to reopened border crossings, a UNHCR-IOM report said. Most detentions occurred in Balochistan, while returns and deportations also doubled, driven by fear of arrest and government repatriation orders, Dawn reported.
Vijayan was received by Indian Ambassador Deepak Mittal, members of the Loka Kerala Sabha, and other representatives.
