J&K students at Chandigarh college develop ‘Shikara App’ to facilitate tourism

Srinagar, May 19 (ANI): Students of Jammu and Kashmir at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh have brought laurels by making a ‘Shikara App’. “Aryans Shikara App” has been approved by the Copyright Office, Government of India, Diary Number 4191/2022-CO/SW, dated 23rd April, 2022. The app has been developed to bridge the gap between Shikara owners and riders. They have created a platform where details of all Shikara owners from Gate No 1 to 20 have been made available on this App. In this app, the tourists can choose the gate and owner of the Shikara. This project was completed under the guidance of expert teachers. Aryans Group of Colleges is the only campus near Chandigarh outside Kashmir having over 2,000 students from various parts of Jammu & Kashmir.
