New Delhi, October 20(ANI): Delhi Police busted a gang for defrauding Rs 1.35 crore and arrested five persons. A case was registered in November 2020 at Rajinder Nagar Police Station on the complaint of Kanika Girdhar, who lives in Germany. Based on her complaint, the police began a probe and the culprits were identified as Sumit Pandey, Shailendra Pratap Singh, Neelam, Jagdamba Prasad Pandey and Adarsh Jaiswal. They had established a network in India for sweeping away funds from accounts having an enormous amount of money. Police recovered 'benami' property worth Rs 41 lakh, a car, a motorcycle and Rs 27 lakh cash from their possession.
