Alaska (USA), Oct 19 (ANI): Indian and US Armies sharpened their skills during joint military training “Ex Yudh Abhyas 2021” at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska. The day started with a 5-km run in the cold weather after which the troops carried out several strengthening and stretching exercises. Post PT, the entire day was reserved for Cold Winter Training. First, the American troops demonstrated the setting up of their Arctic tents, later a team of instructors from the High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) organised a special session for trained mountaineers of the Indian Army. The training day ended with an informal sled race where teams of US and Indian soldiers faced off against each other in pulling sleds with loads.
