Panaji (Goa), Dec11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Mopa International Airport in Goa on December 11 said that today the airport is ready to be used after facing hurdles.During the inaugural address, the Prime Minister said, “After facing a lot of hurdles, today this beautiful airport is ready-to be used.” “Today, on the global platform, India is creating its new image and the world wants to know the story of India. It is necessary to ensure ‘ease of travel’ in the country, he added” The international airport was inaugurated by PM Modi in presence of thousands of people at the venue. Chief Minister of Goa along with other officials were present at the inauguration ceremony. The foundation stone of the said airport was laid by the Prime Minister in November 2016. This will be the second airport in Goa, the first one being located at Dabolim.
