Srinagar, Sept 08 (ANI): A Shikara Rally was flagged off by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha in Srinagar. It was organised to celebrate Urs Mubarak of Syed Qamar-Ud-Din Bukhari. The main purpose of the rally was to review water transport sport in Kashmir valley. Many people and students took part in the rally as it was organised after 33 years in Kashmir. Singers sang traditional folk songs live to attract people towards this rally. The Tourism department also finalised the program to start water transport in Kashmir so that people can travel on water to many places. The move is expected to increase tourism and employment in Kashmir valley. The rally also gave a message of peace and love across Srinagar about the sufi culture and water transport in Kashmir.
