“Progress beyond politics…” Shashi Tharoor lauds PM Modi for giving Vande Bharat train to Kerala

New Delhi, April 19 (ANI): Kerala to get its first Vande Bharat Train on April 25. The train will run from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on April 19 lauded PM Modi, Ashwini Vaishnaw. Thiruvananthapuram MP is impressed with the Vande Bharat train. Taking to Twitter, Tharoor said that progress must be beyond politics. PM Modi will flag off the train during his Kerala visit on April 25. Tharoor will also attend the flagging off ceremony of Vande Bharat train from Thiruvananthapuram. On Feb 1, 2022, Shashi Tharoor suggested bringing Vande Bharat trains to Kerala. Vande Bharat Express is an indigenously manufactured, semi-high speed and self-propelled train set. The train is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities, including a faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel experience.
