Rajasthan: PM Modi stresses role of infrastructure projects in development of country

Dausa (Rajasthan) Feb 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stone for the National Road development projects worth over Rs 18,100 crore in Dausa, Rajasthan on February 12. He also inaugurated the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Addressing the foundation program, PM Narendra Modi said, “When such modern roads, railway stations, airports, metros are built, then the country progresses. Investment in infrastructure attracts even more investment. For the last 9 years, the central government is continuously making huge investments in infrastructure. In last few years, Rajasthan has also received Rs 50,000 for highways. In this year’s budget, we have made a provision of Rs 10 lakh crore for infrastructure. This amount is five times the amount provisioned in 2014. Rajasthan is going to benefit greatly from this investment.” “Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor are going to become two strong pillars of progress for Rajasthan. These projects are going to change the picture of this entire region including Rajasthan in the coming times. I am happy that this expressway is getting power from ‘PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan’. All these efforts will save crores of rupees and country’s time in future,” he added.
