Surat (Gujarat), Oct 17 (ANI): Recalling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine amid the war, Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on October 17 said that PM Modi got the assurance that the firing will not happen during that period so that India can be able to get Indian students out from the war zone. “In Ukraine’s Sumy and Kharkiv, PM Modi made a call to Presidents Putin and Zelensky, told them our children are stuck. He got the assurance that firing will not happen during that period and that is how we were able to get our children out,” the Union Minister said.
