Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), July 18, (ANI): The Presidential Election is being held on July 18. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur cast his vote for the same and wished a historic win for NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu.He said, “A tribal woman standing for such a senior post is historic. If you would get to know her background, then you will be surprised to know the struggles that she has been through. She has held various important positions including that of a minister in the Odisha government and she has been a Governor. Today she is contesting the Presidential election. I hope she will have an outstanding win. From Himachal, all MLAs have cast their votes. I am sure all our votes have gone to her, she will win. I wish her the best from the government and people of Himachal Pradesh.”
