Cape Town (South Africa), May 28, 2022, (ANI/ TV BRICS): Cape Town, South Africa, hosted the international tourism film festival africa 2022. The festival celebrates all video content related to the tourism and travel industry. It was established in 2019. The organiser - Caroline Ungersbock -thinks that video is a great way to travel. The participants of the competition were advertising & independent videos, documentaries up to 60 minutes long, author's programs and reports on the internet or on television. The competition is organised together with the international tourist film festival committee. Every year, 3500 works compete for the title of the best tourism picture in the world. Prior to the Cape Town contest, Africa was underrepresented. That is why the committee supports the festival in South Africa. For the first time, the winners received special points. They give access to the rating list of the international tourist film festival committee, which will determine the best films of the year. The jury of the festival included professionals in the field of marketing, tourism and cinema. Directors, editors, creative producers. In total, 315 works from 55 countries took part in the competition.
