Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), April 10 (ANI): After a purported video of the Dalai Lama kissing a boy on the lips and asking him to ‘suck his tongue’ sparked outrage, Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile member Dawa Tsering on April 10 sided with the Dalai Lama and cleared about the ‘light intentions’ of the Dalai Lama. Calling the incident part of a joke, Tsering also read out the apology that has been issued by 14th Dalai Lama. “I just heard about the incident from the people who were present that day at the Dalai Lama's temple. A child from the group asked if he can hug his Holiness and the Dalai Lama agreed. The child then asked for a kiss and after that Dalai Lama jokingly said that the kid can even suck his tongue if he wants,” Tsering said.
